PAUL DI'ANNO Collaborates With Greek Band PRASSEIN ALOGA; Second Track Posted Online
November 13, 2011"Flesh Of Life", the second of two new tracks former IRON MAIDEN singer Paul Di'Anno co-wrote and recorded with the Greek band PRASSEIN ALOGA, can be streamed in the YouTube clip below. The track will appear on PRASSEIN ALOGA's new album, "Midas Touch", due later in the year. Also available is the previously released song "See The Bodies".
Di'Anno in 2006 re-released his 2000 effort, "Nomad", with a few tracklist alterations, under the title "The Living Dead" (Cleopatra Records). The package came with a bonus DVD that contained the music video for "The Living Dead" and an exclusive in-depth, tell-all interview in which Di'Anno discussed his days with IRON MAIDEN.
Di'Anno's current tour is his first since being jailed in March after he falsely collected U.K. government benefits by claiming he suffered nerve damage to his back that prevented him from working.
Di'Anno was sentenced to nine months for swindling 45,000 (approximately $72,000) in benefits. He was told he would serve at least four and a half months of the sentence behind bars before being released on conditional bail.
Di'Anno completed his first North American tour in early 2010, 17 years after he was deported following a prison term for guns and drug offenses.
